This role combines visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication to help address security‑related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.33 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat 06:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Sun 06:00 PM – 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with site protocols, and report unusual findings or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while following established post orders and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, noting suspicious activity, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations that may need attention. Document screening results, incidents, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, client representatives, and/or first responders as needed. Minimum Requirements At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required. X‑Ray screening experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
