TekFive is seeking an experienced Senior Power BI & Enterprise Reporting Developer to support NASA's Office of Strategic Infrastructure (OSI), Facilities and Real Estate Division (FRED), and its enterprise reporting environment.

This position will support NASA's enterprise facilities and asset-management reporting capabilities, with responsibility for developing advanced Power BI reports and dashboards, integrating complex data sources, administering reporting infrastructure, and ensuring secure access to enterprise data.

The ideal candidate combines strong Power BI development and data-modeling expertise with experience working with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) data , preferably IBM Maximo 7.6 and/or Maximo Application Suite (MAS).

This is not simply a dashboard-development position. The successful candidate will work across reporting, data integration, security, infrastructure, and business requirements to transform complex facilities and asset-management data into reliable, actionable information for NASA stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, KPIs, and analytical solutions supporting NASA facilities, real estate, maintenance, and asset-management operations.
• Develop custom and out-of-the-box reporting solutions based on stakeholder and operational requirements.
• Integrate and analyze data from multiple disparate and siloed data sources.
• Develop complex data mappings, relationships, calculations, and transformations using Power BI, DAX, SQL, and Python .
• Optimize Power BI semantic models, metadata, calculation groups, relationships, and overall model performance.
• Define, configure, and maintain organizational KPIs to provide consistent performance measurement across reporting environments.
• Administer and maintain Power BI Data Gateway configurations supporting secure connectivity to on-premises Maximo/MAS and other enterprise data sources.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve Row-Level Security (RLS) and Column-Level Security (CLS) to provide appropriate data access across NASA organizations.
• Support NASA's Enterprise CMMS reporting server and report repository, including availability, performance, security, and integration with Power BI.
• Manage reporting-platform user access, roles, permissions, and security configurations in accordance with applicable security and compliance requirements.
• Partner with database administrators, data managers, analysts, and technical teams to maintain reliable enterprise data operations.
• Evaluate database and data-model changes against business requirements and technical design documentation.
• Update data architecture, reporting structures, and models as business and technical requirements evolve.
• Perform software installations, upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and routine maintenance associated with reporting infrastructure.
• Monitor system and reporting performance, troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement improvements.
• Work directly with NASA stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain reporting specifications, data mappings, model documentation, gateway configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and other technical documentation.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for reporting workflows, tools, administration, and operational processes.
• Provide technical support, guidance, and training to Power BI and enterprise-reporting users.
• Collaborate with analysts and technical team members in a dynamic environment where reporting priorities and data requirements may change quickly.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 6+ years of professional experience supporting enterprise reporting, Business Intelligence, Enterprise Asset Management reporting, or related data environments.
• Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power BI .
• Advanced experience with Power BI data modeling and DAX .
• Experience developing advanced dashboards, KPIs, metrics, and analytical reports.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational enterprise databases.
• Hands-on experience configuring and administering Power BI Data Gateway for on-premises data sources.
• Experience implementing and maintaining Row-Level Security (RLS) and role-based data-access controls.
• Experience integrating and mapping data from multiple disparate data sources.
• Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and role-based access-control concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting complex reporting, data, and system-integration issues.
• Experience with scripting and/or automation technologies.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical teams, analysts, database administrators, business stakeholders, and end users.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo 7.6 and/or Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9) .
• Knowledge of Maximo database tables, relationships, data structures, and reporting architecture .
• Experience developing Power BI reporting solutions using Maximo/MAS data.
• Experience with SQL Developer and enterprise database environments.
• Experience using Python for data integration, transformation, analysis, or automation.
• Experience using Tabular Editor for advanced Power BI semantic-model development, optimization, and governance.
• Experience with Tableau or other enterprise Business Intelligence platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise analytics environments and hybrid on-premises/cloud data integrations.
• Experience implementing RLS/CLS or other enterprise data-security controls at scale.
• Experience supporting NASA, federal government, aerospace, facilities management, or other large-scale asset-intensive environments.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft Power BI, Azure, IBM Maximo/MAS, data analytics, or ITIL .

What We're Looking For:

The strongest candidate will be more than a Power BI report developer. We are looking for someone who understands how enterprise data moves from operational systems such as Maximo/MAS through databases, gateways, semantic models, security layers, and ultimately into executive and operational reporting .

Candidates who can combine strong Power BI development skills with Maximo/EAM knowledge, data integration experience, and enterprise reporting administration will be particularly well suited for this position.
