Location: Mount Clemens, MI

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Shift: Nights (36 Hour Guarantee)

Job Overview: The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Carries out functions according to hospital policy, the hospital mission, and standards of practice defined by professional and regulatory guidelines. Directs, coordinates, and delegates activities in order to foster patient/family-centered care.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
2. Plan and implement nursing care according to patient and family needs.
3. Make appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
4. Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.
5. Assume personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.

Submission Requirements:

• 1+ Year of ER experience - Required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) - Required
• Health system-wide profile standards
• References NOT required.
• A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.
• Michigan license verification is required for nurses. Please provide LARA and Nursys; if there is a license hit, it would be in the traveler’s best interest to provide a write-up of what happened for the manager's review.
• Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.
• Full-time employees of Facility are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.

Certification Requirements:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA (American Heart Association)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA (American Heart Association)
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
