Physical Therapist Assistant
Provides direct patient care by offering appropriate treatments according to age and condition. Actively seeks to improve knowledge and skills of self and others. Provides appropriate leadership. Meets clinical productivity standards. Meets competency requirements. Will also be involved in team dynamics and participate in interdisciplinary activities when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduation with Associate Degree as Physical Therapist Assistant from an APTA accredited school.
- Current licensure or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant by The North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiner is required.
- 3 years or less of licensure is required
- Associate Degree or higher
Preferred Requirements
- Prior Physical Therapist Assistant experience in hospital.
- Current NC PTA license

ECU Health Duplin Hospital is an 81-bed facility located in Kenansville, North Carolina. The 15-bed emergency department serves approximately 25,000 patients per year. In addition to providing general medical and surgical services, ECU Health Duplin Hospital offers chemotherapy and other cancer infusion interventions and has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center.
