Logistics Operations Specialist $55,000-$65,000 | Full-Time | Direct Hire | Onsite About the Opportunity We're seeking a relationship-driven Logistics Operations Specialist to join a growing transportation and operations team. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure timely issue resolution, effective communication, and exceptional service delivery. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships, coordinating logistics activities, and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same. Candidates with backgrounds in logistics, transportation, supply chain, customer service, dispatch, account management, operations support, or client services are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for carriers, customers, and internal teams regarding operational and service-related inquiries Monitor and respond to requests received through phone, email, and internal systems Research and resolve shipment, carrier, payment, and service-related issues Track, document, and communicate issue resolution progress to customers and stakeholders Coordinate with carriers and internal departments to ensure timely service and successful outcomes Support carrier onboarding, account maintenance, and relationship management activities Maintain accurate records, notes, and documentation within company systems Assist with operational reporting, customer communications, and service tracking Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements Provide exceptional customer service while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines Participate in special projects and operational initiatives as needed Qualifications Required 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, customer service, operations support, dispatch, supply chain, account support, carrier relations, or client services Strong communication and relationship-building skills Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook Strong organizational and follow-up skills Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly Preferred Transportation, logistics, freight, or supply chain experience Experience working directly with carriers, drivers, vendors, or customers Customer-facing operations or account management experience Experience researching and resolving billing, shipment, or service issues Transportation Management System (TMS) or CRM experience Exposure to operational reporting and process improvement initiatives Ideal Candidate You enjoy: Building relationships and helping customers solve problems Working with transportation and logistics operations Investigating issues and driving them to resolution Collaborating across teams to achieve results Managing multiple priorities and deadlines Finding opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies Being a trusted resource for customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders Compensation & Schedule $55,000-$65,000 annually Full-Time Direct Hire Monday-Friday 100% Onsite All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
