Schedule: Days 8 hours, Negotiable Start Times: 7am, 8am, or 9am

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• 1+ Years of Physical Therapy Experience
• Acute Care Experience
• Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to Physical Therapy
• 2 Supervisory References with dates employed listed
• Active American Heart Association BLS Certification
• Active Michigan Physical Therapist License

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess patients to determine needs, age-related problems, strengths, and rehabilitation potential, including periodic reassessment.
• Plan individualized treatment programs based on assessment results, physician's orders, and clinical judgment.
• Document all necessary information in the patient's medical record.
• Delegate treatment tasks to PTAs or technical staff and monitor their application and treatment outcomes.
• Coordinate services and treatment plans with patients, families, and other healthcare disciplines.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, self-help measures, and preventive care.
