Automation Engineer

Salary: $95,000 - 165,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• We look for a minimum GPA of 3.4.
• We require 5-7+ years of relevant experience.
• We need proficiency in programming, including text-based languages and object-oriented concepts.
• We value the ability to learn new technologies quickly, understand complex systems, and build on established patterns and models.
• We need someone who can manage multiple projects efficiently, work directly with customers, and respond to their needs.
• We require experience designing industrial automation systems such as PLCs, motion control, process control, HMI, SCADA, robots, and machine vision.
• We value interest in working across a range of industries.
• We prefer experience leading or mentoring technical project teams.
• We require strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop project proposals.
• We require the ability to travel 25% to 40%.
• We require authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

• We develop applications in line with our programming standards and best practices to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• We commission solutions at customer sites, including domestic and international travel as needed, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• We work with a wide range of industrial PLC, HMI, and SCADA platforms, including Siemens, Rockwell, and Ignition.
• We continuously learn relevant technologies with guidance while building knowledge in sales, business development, and project processes.
• We support system architecture design, perform engineering tasks throughout all project stages, and take on both leading and supporting responsibilities.
• We mentor and provide technical guidance to new team members.
• We communicate deliverables to customers through multiple channels and build and maintain client relationships.
• We collaborate independently and with teams and clients, maintaining daily communication and assisting with project management.
