Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide direct nursing care to patients on a Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans and communicating changes to the care team.
• Float within the same discipline to other units, including the Stepdown unit, as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois and Iowa required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Stepdown or Cardiac nursing experience preferred, as floating to the Stepdown unit may be required.
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply.
