Learn more here: / Position Summery The Business Manager role is a unique opportunity to join and support the strategic direction for one of the fastest-growing, all‑natural pork and cooked meat companies in the US. As a member of our core leadership team, you will work closely with all stakeholders to create, implement, and maintain our long‑term strategic direction through the lens of our Company mission and values. We are looking for a strong team player who can think creatively, build winning strategies, and lead with autonomy while developing relationships that support a winning culture. Responsibilities Commercial Strategy: Support implementation to a strategic business plan that generates value. Provide project management by working with outside agencies, management team members, and internal team by compiling and evaluating research on market product requirements and identifying enhancements to current features and functionality. Product Portfolio Optimization and Life Cycle Management Identify emerging markets and market shifts and be able to act with a sense of urgency where applicable. Lead in SKU optimization, item profitability analysis, and build the optimal portfolio to meet customer needs, including retail, food service, and industrial. Team and Cross‑Functional Alignment and Execution Develop plans to lead a team of experienced professionals that include goal setting, coaching, and performance monitoring. Collaborate with the scheduling team and sales team to bring accurate forecasting back through the supply chain and profitably grow our segments. Collaborate with internal teams to improve efficiency, execution and costs while maintaining high standards for our customers. Perform other related duties and projects as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, developing, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities BS/MS degree in business administration, management, or a related field. Six or more years of experience in business management, marketing, sales, operations, supply chain, or a similar role leading cross‑functional teams. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization. Strong financial and business acumen. Proven ability to create a strategy, manage projects and bring innovative solutions to customers.
