Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Scientist
Wellstar Health System
Wellstar Health System is seeking a Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Scientist to perform complex laboratory testing that supports accurate diagnosis and quality patient care. In this role, you will conduct and validate hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology assays using advanced analyzers and instrumentation. Responsibilities include specimen processing, QC/QA, instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely reporting of critical values. You will collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other clinicians, uphold safety and regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission), precept new staff, and contribute to process improvement in a mission-driven, patient-centered environment.
