Travel Respiratory Therapist – PICU (Night Shift) Travel Respiratory Therapist – PICU (Night Shift) Fort Pierce, Florida Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide treatment, care, andevaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, including asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema Operate and manage respiratory equipment including Servo I ventilators, Hamilton, V60, Astral, CPAP and BiPAP machines Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and chest physiotherapy (CPT) Administer nebulizer treatments and manage approximately 44–46 procedures per shift Collaborate closely with physicians and the care team in a fast-paced acute care environment Document patient care accurately using the facility's EMR system Required Qualifications Active Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Current BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital experience as an RRT Ability to work night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in a high-volume clinical setting Preferred Experience / Skills Previous trauma care experience in an acute hospital setting Prior experience with Meditech EMR Why Join Us Join a recognized, accredited facility with a long-standing record of clinical excellence, including designations for stroke care and cardiac treatment Work alongside a collaborative, close-knit respiratory therapy team in a dynamic and supportive environment
