Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver coordinated nursing care for patients. This role involves supervising and directing the activities of various levels of nursing staff while ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will utilize critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment to provide effective patient care. You will collaborate with various disciplines to create a supportive and healing environment for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect relevant patient health data and analyze this information for care planning.
• Develop individualized care plans that prescribe pertinent interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Implement nursing care plans and coordinate care delivery with the healthcare team.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care interventions and adjust plans as necessary.
• Engage with patients and families to provide health information and learning opportunities.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care post hospitalization.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to team members and oversee their implementation.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Acute care facility experience is preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification is required.
• At least two years of recent experience in a relevant field is required.

Organizational Requirements

All associates are required to receive all mandatory vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available as applicable. Participation in E-Verify is also a requirement.
