Registered Respiratory Therapist - ICU, ER, NICU

Biddeford, ME

This is a 13-week contract position.

Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in ICU, ER, and NICU settings. The ideal candidate will provide critical care to both adult and pediatric patients, including intubation and mechanical ventilation. You will join a dynamic healthcare team, attending high-risk deliveries and participating in resuscitation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients across various settings, including ICU, ER, and nursery.
• Utilize equipment such as Drager V500 and Hamilton T-1 ventilators, neopuff, and EPIC documentation system.
• Work effectively as part of a resuscitation team during high-risk deliveries and critical care scenarios.
• Assess and treat adult and pediatric patients with respiratory issues.
• Float as needed to different areas of the hospital, providing care where necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, specifically in ICU, ER, and NICU settings.
• Strong assessment skills and familiarity with required equipment.
