JOB DETAILS:
Job Title: Oracle DBA
Location: Conshohocken, PA - Hybrid 3 Days Onsite/Week)
Duration: 10 Months Contract
Pay Rate: Open, DOE JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Database Engineering & Architecture: Design, install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database servers.
• High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage Oracle RAC.
• Performance Tuning: Perform advanced SQL, PL/SQL, and instance-level tuning using AWR, ADDM, and ASH reports to optimize performance.
• Automation & Scripting: Write and maintain Unix shell scripts (Bash/KornShell) or Python to automate routine DBA tasks, backups, and monitoring.
• Backup & Recovery: Formulate and execute backup/recovery strategies using RMAN (Recovery Manager).
• Production Support: Provide on-call support for critical production issues, including root cause analysis (RCA).
