Our client is seeking an experienced Buyer/Purchaser to support a high-volume warehouse operation serving the commercial MEP industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented purchasing professional who enjoys managing inventory, building vendor relationships, and keeping critical materials moving in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Manage purchasing activities for materials, parts, and inventory supporting warehouse operations.
• Maintain purchasing and inventory tracking spreadsheets using advanced Excel functions.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, warehouse staff, and management to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and support physical inventory and cycle count processes.
• Utilize SAGE software to manage purchasing activities and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with process improvements and contribute to warehouse operations as needed.
• Support a high-volume environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications Required

• 5+ years of purchasing experience in a high-volume warehouse, distribution, or related environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, tracking tools, and reporting.
• Experience using SAGE software.
• Knowledge of inventory control, physical inventory, and cycle counting processes.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.

Preferred

• Experience within the MEP, construction, service, or facilities maintenance industries.
• ServiceTrade experience (training available for the right candidate).
• Proven ability to identify process improvements and think creatively to solve challenges.
