Join Acme Tools and let your passion for tools and problem-solving thrive in a supportive and fulfilling environment.In The Role Of A Diesel MechanicAs a Diesel Mechanic, your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing and repairing issues with electrical and hydraulic systems, as well as both gas and diesel engines to ensure optimal performance. You'll need to keep both indoor and outdoor work areas clean and organized. Additionally, you'll be responsible for maintaining service trucks during service calls. Effective communication with customers, the Service Supervisor, and the parts department is crucial for providing updates on repair progress and ensuring the timely ordering and receipt of parts. Safety is a top priority as you complete tasks efficiently, and you'll also need to accurately track parts ordered and repair hours.QualificationsA valid Driver's License with a clean driving recordPrevious experience working with DC voltage controls, hydraulics, and gas and diesel enginesThe willingness to work outdoors in all seasons and cross-train in other repair areasPhysical RequirementsLift up to 75 lbs.Sit, stand, and walk for the majority of your shiftFrequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reachAcme Tools is an equal opportunity employer.
