Own inventory, streamline operations, and keep things moving.A privately held contract manufacturing and fulfillment company, specializing in domestic contract manufacturing for startups, emerging businesses, and established OEMs.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Warehouse & Inventory Specialist Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 22.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)Receiving all incoming material accurately, in detail, and efficiently.Put-away & location control; maintaining bin & location scheme, maintaining organization & cleanliness.Kitting & release to production.Inventory accuracy and cycle counting.Shelf life, moisture sensitivity & ESD controlReceive, store, & track customer-owned & consigned material.Identify, tag, log & physically quarantine nonconforming material.Warehouse & Inventory Specialist Qualifications:HS diploma or equivalent.3+ years of warehouse, receiving, stockroom or inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment.Hands-on experience performing transactions in an ERP or MRP system.Ability to work to written procedure & complete required documentation consistently.Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office & barcode scanning tools.Accurate counting, measurement & basic math, including unit of measure conversion.Effective written & verbal communication with willingness to escalate problems rather than resolve them informally.Lift & carry up to 40 pounds.Safely operate a pallet jack to move and stage palletized material.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
