Senior Associate Attorney – Complex Civil Litigation (Miami, FL)

The Opportunity

We are seeking an attorney with 5–7+ years of litigation experience to join our Miami office.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to handle substantive litigation matters and take increasing responsibility for your cases, including:

• Pre- and post-suit investigations
• Case evaluation and analysis
• Drafting and responding to discovery
• Preparing and arguing motions
• Taking and defending depositions
• Hearings and court appearances
• Settlement negotiations
• Trial preparation
• Developing and implementing strategies to resolve claims for our clients

We are a growing national litigation defense firm representing sophisticated clients in complex, high-exposure matters across a broad range of industries throughout Florida and across the country. Our attorneys handle cases from initial investigation through resolution and trial, giving you the opportunity to develop the skills and judgment necessary to become a successful litigator.

You’ll work alongside attorneys who have successfully handled complex litigation and trials while receiving meaningful guidance along the way. We are looking for a strong litigator who is ready to continue growing and taking on meaningful responsibility.

Experience : 5–7+ years of litigation experience, preferably involving premises liability, motor vehicle, products liability, construction, professional liability, insurance coverage, general liability, or other complex civil defense matters.

Skills : Strong legal research, writing, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, along with the ability to develop and implement efficient strategies to resolve claims.

Motivation : A self-starter with a proactive mindset, strong organizational and project-management skills, and a desire to continue developing as a litigator.

Licensing : J.D. required. Must currently be admitted to and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
