Event Media Representative

NEUR Nonprofit is a Christ-centered, Youngstown-based organization looking for two local creatives to join our event media team as independent contractors.

This opportunity is for someone interested in photography, B-roll videography, sales, communication, and meaningful community-based work. You do not need to know everything already, but you do need to be dependable, coachable, communicative, and willing to grow. The first two selected contractors will help set the tone for this team and may have the opportunity to help lead future Event Media Representatives as the program grows.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Event Media Representatives help NEUR connect with organizations, businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders who need professional event media support.

This role includes:

• Event photography
• B-roll videography
• Sales conversations
• Event photo booth support
• Lead generation
• Cold calling
• Relationship-building
• Community representation

WHAT YOU NEED

Applicants should have:

• A modern DSLR or mirrorless camera
• Basic photography knowledge
• Reliable transportation
• A working phone
• Availability for select evenings and weekends
• Black dress pants and comfortable black shoes for events
• Strong communication and integrity
• A willingness to be trained

TRAINING

Selected contractors will receive weekly training and field support during onboarding. Training will include sales conversations, cold calling basics, relationship-building, event professionalism, photography standards, B-roll standards, and client experience.
