Warehouse Associate III

The Warehouse Associate III is responsible for packaging and preparing outgoing shipments, through coordination with internal teams, to ensure that demand is fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner. This role provides back-up lead support and is the subject matter expert for most processes throughout the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Transact customer orders using the ERP system and provide quality control inspections.
• Package products for shipping, ensuring all required items are in the carton and labels are affixed correctly.
• Perform accurate inventory counts of finished goods and materials as assigned.
• Process domestic and international shipments, including scheduling with freight carriers and processing quotations for the internal customer service team.
• Identify and help solve problems as they arise on the warehouse floor, keeping leadership informed.
• Perform all functions in Receiving and process site-to-site transfers when needed.
• Train newer employees and act as a backup to the lead.
• Maintain a neat, organized warehouse environment and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 4-6 years of related experience in general warehouse duties, including receiving, packaging, and shipping.

Skills & Abilities:

• Must be able to obtain Forklift certification within the first three months of employment.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new software applications, including ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English, including both written and verbal skills.
• Able to recognize improvement opportunities and contribute to corrective actions.
• Attendance is a critical function of this position.

Work Environment

• This role operates in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift 15 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. periodically with assistance.
• Must be able to stand or sit for long periods.
• Perform tasks that may be repetitive, which require reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, walking, stooping, and/or bending.
• Ability to use tools that require fine hand skills and visually observe small parts.
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required in designated areas.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a pay rate between $40.00 and $50.00 per hour. We offer medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan including match.
