About the team:

The Enterprise Directory Services Coreteam manages Walmart’s multiple Active Directory forests, ensuring essential services like LDAP function securely and efficiently. The team maintains a stable and well-protected Active Directory environment, exemplifying operational excellence. It provides consulting support to application teams by sharing best practices and resolving application‑related issues. This team plays a vital role in sustaining the infrastructure that supports Walmart’s business operations, focusing on reliability, security, modernization, and collaboration to effectively meet organizational needs.

What you’ll do...

• TechncalleadershipoveroperationsofenterpriseActiveDirectoryservicesacrossmulti-domain,multi-forest,andhybrididentityenvironments.
• Drivemodernizationofdomaincontrollerinfrastructurethroughlifecapacitymanagement,resiliencyengineering,andserviceoptimizationinitiatives.
• AdvanceenterpriseidentitymodernizationbyintegratingActiveDirectory,cloud-basedidentity,andthereductionoflegacyauthenticationdependencies.
• Developandmaintainautomationframeworks,monitoringplatforms,alertingsolutionsthatimproveoperationalefficiency.

What you’ll bring:

• 10+yearsinITinfrastructure,experiencewithinthepast5yearsinenterpriseIAM,ActiveDirectory,cloud-basedidentity,andaccessmanagementadoption.
• Deephands-onknowledgeofADforests,domains,GPOs,trusts,replication,andLifecycleManagement.
• Provenabilitytoleadcross-functionaltechnicalprojects,mentorengineers,andalignsecuritystandardswithbusinessgoals
• Proficiencyincloudmigrationstrategiesandmanagementofpubliccloudplatforms.
• Strongknowledgeofautomationtools,scriptinglanguages(e.g.,PowerShellandPython),andCI/CDpipelinestooptimizeoperationalefficiency.
• Abilitytoanalyzeinfrastructureperformancemetricsanddevelopcapacityplansalignedwithbusinessrequirements.

Bentonville, Arkansas US-09050: The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00

Herndon, Virginia US-10710: The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00
