Key Responsibilities

• Craft tailored treatment plans addressing immediate objectives as well as long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy focused on facets of communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Collaborate with physical and occupational therapists, healthcare providers, families, and caregivers to establish integrated care strategies.
• Provide educational resources to patients and families to enhance progress during clinical sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
• Keep comprehensive and punctual documentation in accordance with state, federal, and facility policies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through education and collaboration with peers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for candidates not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within one month of employment.
