Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Utica, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/19/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing critical care to a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients. The role requires clinical expertise in emergency medicine and experience handling high-acuity cases. Job Details Certifications & Education Requirements: Must have current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). Valid and active New York State nursing license. Schedule: Evening shift, 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Up-to-date resume demonstrating 2 years of emergency department experience, including some pediatric experience, and documentation of travel experience. Valid drivers license matching demographics, with proof of travel. Experience with Epic electronic medical record system. Additional Information: The unit consists of 64 beds, including triage, acute, super track, trauma, clinical decision unit, and psychiatric beds. Clinical responsibilities include managing patients with stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Use of specialized equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun is required. Patients range from newborns to geriatric individuals. Floating between units is required. Scrub color is navy blue.
