Nurse Practitioner

Overview ERP International is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a full-time position in support of the Flight Operational Medicine clinic at 7th Medical Group located at Dyess AFB, TX. Responsibilities Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 hours between 7:00am and 5:00pm, with a one hour lunch. NO Weekends, NO Call, NO Holidays Provide a full range of outcome‑based nurse practitioner services in accordance with privileges granted by the MTF. Technically direct and teach other staff, provide evidence‑based educational lectures and participate in in‑service training. Diagnose and treat patients with common acute conditions, chronic illnesses, or minor trauma within accepted protocols, clinical practice guidelines, Nurse Practice Acts, and/or in consultation with a physician. Promote preventive care and health maintenance including annual physicals and positive health behaviors through both formal and individual education and counseling. Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people to inform the healthcare team of plans/actions. Recognize conditions that require isolation and ensure universal precautions are used. Attend staff meetings to provide case discussion, continuing education, and continuous quality improvement and safety. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Education: Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Experience: At least one year of experience in the last two years. License and Certification: Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner from any state; Relevant AANC or AANP certification. Life Support Certification: Current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certification. Security: Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
