Job Opportunity: Full-Time Noninvasive Cardiologist

Our organization in Jacksonville, FL, is on the lookout for a dedicated Noninvasive Cardiologist to join our team.

Role Overview

We provide a comprehensive range of noninvasive cardiology services, which includes:

  • Daily outpatient cardiology clinics
  • Interpretation of exercise stress tests
  • Echocardiograms
  • ECGs and Holter monitor assessments
  • Optional transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and cardioversions

The expected working hours are Monday through Friday, with no requirements for weeknight or weekend on-call duties. There is no inpatient coverage necessary. Additionally, opportunities for video telemedicine and collaboration with the University of Florida for teaching fellows are available. Board Certification or eligibility is a prerequisite.

Incentives and Benefits

We are pleased to offer a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000, along with assistance for medical school loan repayment of up to $200,000.

Our compensation package includes:

  • Competitive salary based on your training, experience, and the local job market
  • Annual performance bonuses of up to an additional $15,000
  • Guaranteed salary increases
  • Licensure: One full and unrestricted active U.S. medical license
  • Continuing Medical Education (CME): $1,000 per year and five days of paid CME leave (conditions apply)
  • Malpractice coverage under federal tort laws for VHA physicians
  • No employment contracts, noncompete clauses, or restrictive covenants
  • 26 days of paid vacation, 13 days of paid sick leave, 10 paid federal holidays, and 15 days for military service
