Workers Compensation Attorney

A law firm seeks a Workers Compensation Attorney to join their team in West Palm Beach, FL. The role involves managing client cases, maintaining communication with clients and medical providers, and ensuring thorough case investigation and documentation. Responsibilities Open new files and initiate client contact, maintaining regular communication. Investigate cases and gather and analyze intake information and relevant documents. Verify insurance coverage and liability issues, maintaining contact with insurance companies. Manage client medical care: schedule appointments and explain procedures. Monitor case status and review medical records. Organize and maintain case files for submission to demand writers. Requirements 2+ years of Workers Compensation experience. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Excellent customer service, time management, and organizational skills. Attention to detail and problem-solution skills. Strong interpersonal skills for client and vendor relationships. Capacity to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to maintain confidential information. Proficiency in phone communication for extended periods. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Consistent record of attendance, reliability, and integrity. Basic knowledge of medical and insurance terminology is a plus. Spanish speaking is a plus. Education High School diploma or equivalent. JD from an accredited university and FL Bar Admission. Certifications FL Bar Admission. Skills Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
