Desktop Service Technician IStratasys is a world leader in 3D printing! The Desktop Service Technician I provides frontline technical support to employees and contractors, ensuring reliable and efficient operation of end-user technology. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, mobile devices, and peripheral issues while delivering exceptional customer service. The Field Services I specialist assists with device deployments, onboarding activities, incident resolution, and day-to-day support of the organization's end-user computing environment.What you will be doing:Provide Tier 2 support for desktop, laptop, mobile device, printer, and peripheral-related issuesTroubleshoot and resolve hardware, operating system, application, and connectivity problemsServe as an escalation point for issues that cannot be resolved by the Service DeskDeliver excellent customer service while maintaining service level objectivesCreate and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and support proceduresIdentify recurring issues and recommend process or technology improvementsParticipate in testing and deployment of new technologies and servicesAssist with Microsoft 365, Teams, Teams Rooms, conferencing technologies, and endpoint management solutionsSupport office technology including meeting room systems, docking stations, monitors, and peripheralsWork with server, network, and security teams during incident resolution and project implementationsFollow all company safety policies and proceduresAttend all required company trainingDemonstrate commitments to Stratasys Behaviors by leading, acting, and modeling these values. Other responsibilities as assigned by the department or manager.Must have for this role:Associates Degree in IT/MIS or 2+ years of applicable work experience in lieu of degree1+ year of relevant technical support, field service, help desk, or equipment maintenance experienceBasic understanding of electronic and mechanical systems, including routine maintenance and fundamental troubleshootingStrong willingness to learn, adapt to new technologies, and follow documented proceduresGood communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to support customers and internal end usersAbility to follow instructions, work effectively within a team, and support flexible business needsNice to have:Previous ServiceNow experience a plusStrong verbal and written interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent follow-through, attention to detail, and task management skillsStrong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making abilityCoursework, certification, or hands-on training in IT, MIS, electronics, mechanical systems, or a related technical discipline is a plusTravel Requirements: 10%, regional
