The Role
- Deliver comprehensive small animal care, including wellness, prevention, diagnostics, and urgent care for established clients
- Perform dentistry with monitored anesthesia and provide high-quality perioperative care
- Perform routine and advanced soft-tissue procedures; selected orthopedic cases based on experience and interest
- Utilize on-site diagnostics (digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab) for timely decision-making
- Educate clients, document thorough medical records, and provide clear discharge and follow-up instructions
- Collaborate closely with skilled technicians and client service staff to ensure efficient, patient-centered workflows
- Participate in a rotating Saturday schedule; limited large-animal work available if desired

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Illinois
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration and Illinois controlled substance license (or eligibility)
- Strong communication skills and a client-centered approach to care
