This position responsible for the preparation of endoscopy and pain management patients for their procedure, preparing patients for discharge or transfer following their procedure, and completing the pre-anesthesia screening process prior to their procedure.Monday-Friday, 8-hr shifts vary between 0615-1630, no on-call, no holidays, no weekends.**Education**Associates Degree - NursingBachelor’s Degree - Nursing**Certification/Licensure**Registered Nurse**Experience**Previous experience in acute care nursing is preferred**Duties/Responsibilities**The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.
