Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (weekend availability a plus)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 occupational therapy services to patients within an inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Evaluate and treat patients to restore functional independence and improve quality of life
• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately using Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to coordinate patient care
• Adhere to unit-specific scheduling requirements including a 5-day, 8-hour shift structure
• Float primarily within the inpatient rehabilitation unit as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida Occupational Therapist state license
• Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
• Minimum 6 months of experience in acute care, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Efficient time management skills with ability to manage a patient caseload effectively

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech documentation system
• Flexibility to incorporate weekend shifts into a 5-day work week schedule
• Prior travel therapy assignment experience
