Senior Civil/Roadway Project Manager

STV has an immediate need in our North Carolina offices for a Senior Civil/Roadway Project Manager in our Transportation division. The successful candidate will:Provide project management and professional design services for transportation improvement projects for municipal agencies, local governments, and NCDOT.Manage design, provide senior-level functional designs, and provide QC for roadway geometry and details, drainage, work zone traffic control, pavement markings, and signing for transportation infrastructure.Interact with client management teams, engineers in other technical disciplines, and marketing teamsDesign experience using MicroStation, Geopak, experience in Open Roads (ORD) is a plusCoordinate design development and assisting with technical direction to other design staffCoordinate with the design team to achieve quality deliverables within the established schedule and budgetAssist with the development of specifications, cost estimates, and technical reportsWork with practice and office leadership, client development, business development and industry participation to advance your career and STV’s growth.Facilitate and lead project meetings both within STV and with clients.Create, maintain, and monitor scopes, fees, schedules, staffing projections, risk registers, sub agreements, QC records, deliverable submittals, and invoices.Establish working relationships and interface with client technical staff and client project managersMentor supporting Civil design staffThe ideal candidate is an individual who is a self-starter, an excellent communicator, and possesses a comprehensive understanding of pre-construction project management of roadway and bridge projects.Qualifications:A minimum of 10 years of experience in all technical aspects of roadway design or bridge designMinimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is requiredNC PE license is required Experience in project management and design of intersections, roundabouts, interchanges, widenings, and bike/ped facilities.Experience with using Open Roads Designer is a plusExperience with NCDOT and other NC municipalitiesStrong inter-personal skills for client and other engineering discipline interactionCompensation Range:$111,362.75 - $127,271.72STV offers the following benefits • Health insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable) • Disability insurance • Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment • 401(k) Plan • Retirement Counseling • Employee Assistance Program • Paid Time Off • Paid Holidays • Back-Up Dependent Care • Parental Leave • Continuing Education Program • Professional Licensure and Society MembershipsSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
