Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The role involves delivering high-quality patient care within a fast-paced critical care environment, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the MICU setting.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed records.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and implement appropriate interventions.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Valid nursing license in current state.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-year ICU experience, preferably in MICU.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work 7a-7p shifts, including every third weekend.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
