$17 per hour

Do you have the passion and heart to serve the elderly? Then join a team that truly loves its employees and residents. Green Acres of Standale is currently seeking two Part-Time Cooks to assist with batch cooking from scratch, food preparation, and general kitchen duties in our retirement living community.

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys cooking in a meaningful, lower-stress environment while making a difference in the lives of seniors.

Schedule:

Part-time 6:30 am- 2:30 pm
Part-time 2:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Every other weekend
Every other holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities:

Batch cook meals from scratch for approximately 40 residents
Assist with food preparation and meal service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and leadership

Qualifications:

Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Dependable, team-oriented, and compassionate
