About the Position

Job Title: Labor and Delivery RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour; Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years required License: State license required Certifications: NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Newborn nursery experience - Traveler's primary residence must be more than 50 miles from facility - Medical or religious exemption form for vaccinations required Description: We are seeking a Labor and Delivery RN to work 3x12-hour shifts with every third weekend. Shift times are 19:00 - 07:30 and 07:00 - 19:30. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in labor and delivery. Candidates must possess certifications in NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, and preferred ACLS. Experience should include newborn nursery management, including infant IV starts and high flow oxygen administration. Responsibilities will include care for patients with a gestation of 36 weeks or higher. The unit provides a wide range of interdisciplinary support services. Working in a six-bed labor and delivery unit, candidates will manage labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery care. Holiday work may be required as needed.
