Store ManagerPerforms and directs overall store management. Controls inventory and money control systems. Directs staff to ensure that customer service, product rotation, stocking, cleanliness, inventory, and anything directed by management is maintained. Maintains standards of safety and security. Delegates and assists in training new team members. Maintains cash controls and bank deposits. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.Duties and Responsibilities Includes, but not limited to:Greet customers and provide an exceptional experience on an ongoing basisOperate cash register, according to PMG standards, surrounding cash handling, record keeping, and paperworkAbility to train, coach, and hold employees accountableExecute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiencyReports to the store in emergency situations: Break-in, robbery, alarm setting, failure of staff to lock up and set alarm, etc.Remain drug free and submit to random drug screensConduct or delegate cigarette inventory counts, trend sheets, and any other reports prescribed by upper managementFollow and adhere to all policies regarding vendor check in procedures, inventory reporting procedures, employee discipline procedures and employee handbook proceduresCommunication of daily issues/challenges with ManagementEnsure PMG policies and procedures surrounding Safety and Operational Excellence are executedPerform work with Integrity, Honesty, and RespectSupport Management with other assigned tasksMaintenance of business records and inputs all sales data into the computer system providedManages the operations of the store including but not limited to:Cleanliness, customer service, inventory rotation, adequate stocking, ordering, and any other direct request from managementAssists cashiers in sales transactions and operates a shift to include stocking, cash register, cleaning and any other duties prescribed to the cashiersSupervise the maintenance of the parking lot, gasoline pumps, trashcans, lighting and general machinery necessary to operate a convenience store*Training will be provided on your duties and responsibilities*RequirementsEducationHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED), or college degreeSkills & AbilitiesBasic math, cash-handling, and computer skillsPrevious restaurant, retail, hospitality, or customer-service experienceReliable transportationSchedule FlexibilityStrong customer service and communication skillsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
