Maintenance Technician - $500 Sign-On Bonus

Cottonwood Residential is looking for an experienced apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Melrose Apartments in Nashville, TN. We are offering a $500 sign-on bonus for this position, payable after 90 days of employment. Qualifications & Required Experience of a Property Maintenance Technician Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers, process company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures. Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time. Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance. Frequent need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push/pull, and navigate difficult terrain and access small areas. Ability to work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends. Ability to work as an on-call technician and provide after-hours emergency service with the support of the Service Manager while following company standards. Perform repairs that may include, but are not limited to, plumbing, electrical work, and general carpentry work related to household, building, and property grounds repairs. EPA certification Type II or Universal is required. CPO certification is a plus. Considerable experience troubleshooting HVAC. Valid driver's license is required.
