Salary: $115-$130 per day
Currently seeking Substitute Teachers and Paraprofessionals within the Dover, DE area. The ideal candidate will possess some classroom experience or experience working with children in general and hold a high school diploma or a bachelors degree, or a Delaware teaching license and area-specific certificate.
Responsibilities of the Substitute Teacher K-12
- Follow all school policies, rules, and procedures.
- In the absence of the regular classroom teacher, help students to learn subject matter and/or skills that are required for scheduled lessons and to provide meaningful instruction for assigned classrooms.
- Carry out lessons according to the primary teachers/administration instructions.
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Maintain a neat and orderly classroom.
Requirements of the Substitute Teacher K-12* Some classroom experience or experience working with children in general
- A high school diploma or a bachelors degree, or a Delaware teaching license and area-specific certificate
- Must be reliable, punctual and professional
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-organized and committed
- Creative and energetic
