Position Summary The Crane Operator / CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating company equipment and vehicles while supporting material delivery and jobsite logistics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Crane Operations
- Safely operate company crane equipment in accordance with all OSHA, DOT, and company safety regulations.
- Perform rooftop material lifts and jobsite crane operations.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and complete required documentation.
- Coordinate with roofing crews, project managers, and site personnel.
- Maintain all required certifications and operating credentials.
- Deliver and pick up dumpsters at residential, commercial, and construction sites.
- Safely load, transport, and unload containers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Complete driver logs, inspection reports, and related paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Deliver roofing materials, equipment, and supplies to jobsites and company facilities.
- Assist with loading, securing, and unloading materials.
- Verify delivery accuracy and maintain delivery documentation.
- Provide professional customer service at jobsites and customer locations.
- Current CCO Certification.
- Valid CDL with acceptable driving record.
- Experience operating cranes in construction or roofing environments.
- Ability to safely operate roll-off trucks and commercial vehicles.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented.
- Roofing industry experience.
- Experience with rooftop material delivery and construction site logistics.
- Forklift experience.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to climb ladders and access construction sites as needed.
