Location : New Windsor, NY
Pay Rate : $17.50/hr. Flexible per-diem schedule with typical hours between 6:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Position Overview The primary duty entails conveying people on van, or other light vehicle between locations. - The shuttle driver's role also involves keeping the bus neat and making sure it is always in working condition.
- Entails checking the car before and after each day's run and noting and issues.
- Expected to be an expert driver and must comply with all necessary instructions guiding the operation of the vehicle within the area.
- The driver is also expected to possess exceptional customer service skills to be able to relate effectively passengers.
- The very nature of the job requires meeting different kinds of people. So, the driver is expected to be friendly but professional in relating with passengers.
Qualifications :
- Excellent driving record required
- Some related driving experience
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Some weekends may be required
- Bilingual English and Spanish speaking a plus
