Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Diverse medical/surgical patient population with expected short-stay post-operative patients, medical admissions, and patients awaiting transition to a specific nursing unit. - Patients are received from the Emergency Department, Operative Services, inter-hospital transfers, clinics, and patient homes.

Shift & Scheduling: - Day/Evening, 12-hr shifts, 0700 - 1930, weekend rotation (every other), holidays as needed.

Floating Requirements: - Float within general care: acute care division.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Proof of identification required
