MRI Technologist PRNThe MRI Technologist PRN is responsible for safely operating the MRI scanner and providing high quality imaging and information for patient diagnosis. The MRI Technologist is also responsible for documenting all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information. This position will require travel between our three Rockford area clinic locations and candidates must be available for weekend coverage. Employees promote and model the service standards to create lasting impressions, extraordinary moments, exceptional on-stage experiences, and meaningful and compassionate connections.Education and experience requirements:Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical schoolOne year of experience preferredCurrent American Registry Radiologic Technologist License (ARRT) IL state License with IDNSBasic working knowledge of Microsoft and Google suitesEnvironmental/Working conditions:Working environment is in an office/clinic setting. Consistent work hours outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends.Physical/Mental demands:Sit or stand for long periods of time, walk for periods of time, kneel, crawl, stoop, and climb stairs.Requires lifting, carrying, or moving heavier objects i.e., pushing or pulling up to 50 pounds and lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.Possess full range of motion in shoulders and arms, including reaching above or below the shoulder in order to operate medical equipment when needed.Finger dexterity, the ability to twist hands/wrists repetitively.Vision (e.g., depth perception, color vision, strong vision up close), Hearing (e.g., high pitch sounds, soft or distant sounds).This description is intended to provide only basic guidelines for meeting job requirements.
