National Strategy Manager – The Dinerstein Companies – Houston, TX The Dinerstein Companies (TDC) is hiring a Houston-based National Strategy Manager to support a portfolio of owner‑managed properties across the U.S. The position reports to the Executive Vice President and works closely with the leadership team to implement portfolio‑wide initiatives and campaigns that position TDC as the country’s premier management company. Core Responsibilities The National Strategy Manager will oversee a portfolio of conventional housing communities within TDC’s growing portfolio. The role collaborates with marketing, accounting, human resources, technology, and management services teams to ensure the operational and financial success of each property. Provide on‑going training of company policies & procedures Develop and implement strategies for property success Communicate regularly with Portfolio Directors on evolving property and staff needs Assist in developing marketing plans in collaboration with the Marketing Department Identify opportunities for improvement in day‑to‑day operations Observe market leasing velocity and develop plans to counteract negative trends Assist in the rollout of new operational initiatives and portfolio‑wide campaigns Analyze reports weekly and monthly to target weaknesses Travel to properties to support on‑site teams Leadership Team The National Strategy Manager is a member of the Property Management Leadership team, attending quarterly Leadership Meetings and collaborating on operational projects aimed at maintaining TDC’s innovative reputation. Collaborate with Leadership on updating policies & procedures for on‑site teams Assist in portfolio‑wide marketing efforts, including renewal and new leasing campaigns Participate in the opening of new developments as they are added to the operating portfolio Assist in the training of new support staff to better serve on‑site teams Executive Involvement National Strategy Managers report on variances in year‑over‑year market trends, find solutions for recurring on‑site issues, and minimize reporting errors. The role involves minimal to moderate communication with external partners. Support property and corporate team members in identifying market and property trends that require changes to leasing strategy Serve as a source of market and property knowledge for executive team members and partners Participate in weekly meetings to review property performance and discuss opportunities for improvement Qualifications & Requirements 3 – 5 years of experience in property management (preferred) Experience successfully managing an on‑site team Will travel to designated markets as needed Willingness to learn new software or cloud‑based programs that improve operational efficiencies Interest in assisting with portfolio‑wide initiatives outside of the assigned portfolio Experience communicating with diverse audiences, including residents, staff, executives, and partners #J-18808-Ljbffr The Dinerstein Companies
