Job Details Job Location: Mays Landing, NJ 08330 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $43.75 - $54.11 Job Shift: Day (FT Day): 7 am-7:30 pm w/ rotating weekends Position Summary Registered Nurses (RNs) provide direct nursing care to inmate patients, applying the nursing process—assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation—in accordance with professional nursing standards. RNs collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care and desired health outcomes. Correctional nurses deliver care to promote and improve overall health, often managing a patient population that has had limited access to healthcare prior to incarceration. This role allows RNs to care for a wide range of conditions, from minor ailments to complex medical or behavioral health issues. Qualifications Minimum Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of employment (maintain a current copy on file at all times) Minimum Work Experience Clinical experience as a Registered Nurse Previous experience in a correctional healthcare environment preferred Required Skills Excellent critical thinking and clinical assessment skills Ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment Assertive, empathetic, and able to provide objective patient care Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Cfg Health System
