As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Route in New Kensington, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time - VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE REQUIRED 1+ YEAR WITH CLEAN DRIVING RECORD

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, following visitor procedures, and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating professionally with employees and/or contractors, and completing required reports related to patrols, incidents, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
