Digital Business Analyst

Overview: Role : Financial Business Analyst (Finance Domain Exp.) Location: McLean, VA (5 Days Onsite) Job Summary Key Responsibilities Gather and document business requirements from Accounting, Finance, and Tax systems Collaborated with Finance and Accounting teams to translate business requirements Translate business needs into functional specifications for technology/process solutions Map current-state processes and design future-state workflows Support UAT, data validation, and process documentation (SOPs, process flows) Facilitate communication between business units and technical/delivery teams Identify process improvement and automation opportunities Min 7+ years exp as Business Analyst, with direct exposure to accounting, finance, or tax functions Experience in mortgage, banking, or financial services (GSE experience a plus) Strong requirements-gathering, process mapping, and documentation skills Familiarity with financial systems/ERP and reporting tools Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-functional coordination skills Experience with reimbursable operating expense (ROE) or similar mortgage servicing cost processes Exposure to tax compliance workflows (federal/state, GSE-specific reporting) SQL or data analysis skills Required Qualifications Min 7+ years exp as Business Analyst, with direct exposure to accounting, finance, or tax functions Experience in mortgage, banking, or financial services (GSE experience a plus) Strong requirements-gathering, process mapping, and documentation skills Familiarity with financial systems/ERP and reporting tools Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-functional coordination skills Preferred Experience with reimbursable operating expense (ROE) or similar mortgage servicing cost processes Exposure to tax compliance workflows (federal/state, GSE-specific reporting) SQL or data analysis skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Socket
