This key leadership position combines clinical reimbursement expertise with infection prevention oversight to ensure exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, and outstanding clinical outcomes.If you're passionate about quality care, collaboration, and making a difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.ScheduleFull-TimeMonday–Friday8:00 AM – 4:30 PMAdditional hours as needed based on facility needsParticipation in the management on-call rotation is required for weekend leadership coverageCompensationRN: $39.00/hourLPN: $34.00/hour$10,000 Sign-On BonusSign-on bonus paid out over one yearWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly pay$10,000 Sign-On BonusStable Monday–Friday scheduleSupportive leadership teamProfessional growth and leadership developmentCollaborative clinical environmentOpportunity to positively impact resident care and facility quality measuresBenefitsBCBS Insurance Plans401(k)VacationPLAWAAnd More!ResponsibilitiesMDS CoordinationCoordinate and manage the MDS assessment process in accordance with federal and state regulations.Ensure accurate and timely completion and submission of all MDS assessments.Lead interdisciplinary care plan meetings and collaborate with department leaders.Monitor case mix, reimbursement opportunities, and quality measures.Maintain survey readiness and support regulatory compliance initiatives.Assist with clinical documentation and reimbursement optimization.Infection PreventionDirect and oversee the facility's Infection Prevention and Control Program.Conduct infection surveillance, tracking, investigations, and required reporting.Identify infection trends and implement corrective action plans.Educate staff on infection prevention policies and best practices.Ensure compliance with CDC, CMS, state, and federal infection prevention regulations.Promote a safe, healthy environment for residents, visitors, and staff.QualificationsCurrent Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.Previous MDS experience preferred.Infection Preventionist experience preferred.Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, reimbursement systems, and MDS processes.Thorough understanding of long-term care regulations and infection prevention standards.Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Join Our Leadership TeamAt Alhambra Rehab & Healthcare, exceptional resident care begins with exceptional clinical leadership.
