Role Description The Senior Financial Planner is a full-time, on-site role based in Summerlin South, NV, responsible for delivering comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services to individual and institutional clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to assess their financial goals, analyzing current financial situations, and developing tailored strategies for investments, retirement planning, tax efficiency, and risk management. The role involves preparing and presenting financial plans, monitoring portfolio performance, and proactively recommending adjustments aligned with market conditions and client life changes. The Senior Financial Planner will collaborate with other advisors and support staff, maintain detailed documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to client education through meetings, calls, and events. This role requires a commitment to high ethical standards, clear communication, and long-term client relationship building. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Financial Planning and Personal Financial Planning, with the ability to create comprehensive, goals-based plans. Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or equivalent advanced financial credential, or clear progress toward obtaining such certification. Strong foundation in Finance, including investment analysis, portfolio construction, and risk management. Proven experience in Retirement Planning, including Social Security optimization, income distribution strategies, and tax-aware withdrawal planning. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS in Finance) is beneficial. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language. Experience working in a fiduciary advisory environment and adherence to high ethical and professional standards. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with financial planning software and CRM tools. Ability to work collaboratively with a team of advisors and support staff, and to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
