Plant Engineer

Job Summary As a Plant Engineer at Plastipak, you optimize the performance of the company’s industrial systems—mechanical, electrical, and facilities—to support production operations. Responsibilities Support production goals by ensuring the operational integrity of equipment and systems, including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and project management. Develop project proposals and lead project workflow to ensure delivery achieves time, quality, and budget goals. Partner cross-functionally with customers, vendors, and technicians. Participate in the setup of new lines and new equipment. Support troubleshooting and repairs, serving as an emergency contact in our 24/7 facility. Uphold and contribute to operational best practices, including safety, quality, and a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Experience maintaining and improving industrial systems in a manufacturing setting. Proven knowledge of industrial mechanical systems, including electrical & mechanical troubleshooting. Ability to support a 24/7 operation, being on-call as needed.
