Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: Ongoing Shift: 1900 - 0730 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience License: Current RN State License Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - Advanced Dysrhythmia Interpretation EKG Test - NIHSS Stroke Certification - CPI Must-Have: - Strong critical thinking skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills - Team-oriented mindset Description: The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in the intensive care unit. Responsibilities include assessing patient condition and needs. Developing and implementing nursing care plans. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitoring vital signs and reporting changes in patient status. Collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Documenting patient care activities accurately and timely. Educating patients and families about health conditions and treatments. Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and staff. Participating in training and continuing education as required.
