Respiratory Therapist

Position: Respiratory Therapist Salary Range: $39 - $43 per hour We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team at our 101 bed Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing respiratory care to patients with chronic or acute respiratory conditions. Your expertise and dedication will help improve the quality of life for our patients and make a positive impact on their recovery journey. Key Responsibilities: Administer respiratory treatments and therapies to patients based on physician orders and treatment plans Conduct patient assessments and evaluate respiratory status to determine appropriate treatment plans Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement comprehensive care plans Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards Requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or long-term care setting BLS and ACLS certifications Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work 35 hours per week with a rotating weekend schedule #J-18808-Ljbffr
